The residents were concerned about the advertisement regarding the beach. There are more people coming and making a mess of the beach and there is nothing we can do because we are a C3 Corporation and we have to do public service, and because of that we have more avenues to go to in the town for things that we require for the associations i.e., fish etc.

Fishing derby pictures are on the web site a good time was had by all the kids and we had a great turn out. Two years ago they stocked the lake and that has helped out immensely. There is interest in starting a feeder program, Artie is willing to come up with the first $100 for the program and Roland will contact the fish and game regarding this before we spend any money on this. There is need of a permit if we do it if we have the fish and game do it they don't need a permit. The reason this has come up is that the perch and sunfish have been decimated and the young fish and they need something to feed on. To make this work you need a large number to restock for feeding.

There was an article in the paper about the water clarity. For every foot of water clarity you lose, your property value goes down about $10,000. It is up to us to keep the lake clean. We were lucky when they drained the lake to repair the dam; we went from 2 ½ feet of lake clarity to 7 ½. That is outstanding. The state was very happy with the results. They wanted to know how we did it and the lake hadn't been down in years and the replaced the Coffer dam which was keeping all the muck in when the opened it up it got rid of it. We need to take advantage of the winter draw down. They will be finishing fixing the dam in the winter when they draw it down again.

Last year we spoke about Purple Loose Strife if you have some in your front yard and cannot take care of it let Roland know and we will try to get to it.

The was a shut down of the beach because of water ecoli, before they will shut it down it has to be above 80 colonies, when they shut it down it was up to 300 and the next day it was back down to 14. There are many causes to cause high ecoli there is no single reason and it corrected itself. Once there is an incident they check it more often. They only check at the public beach sites on the lake. They will check and see if they check Mary beach.

The lake association was formed for the lake it is not the beach association with a suggestion from the Town Manager. There is an agreement, which reads that the beach is to remain open to town residents. The Town provides the liability insurance for the lake it is ridiculous if we were to purchase it. Roland is checking into this with the town manager about getting passes because of the agreement we may be able to do that. The issue is because people are at the beach who do not live in town they are related to someone in town but they may not be there at the time. They do have to be there at the time. The issue has been reviewed with the Police Chief and if there is an issue to contact them and the Police will respond and handle it and let you know that they have handled it. The police Chief Paul joined us and went over agreement with us.

There was a question raised whether we could put up a basketball net at the V on the circle. There was a discussion about speed bumps.
