I am happy to announce that by the time you receive this, the town will be refilling the lake. The dam has been refaced with 8" of reinforced concrete, back filled and the gate closed. The new gate will be poured on shore and installed while the lake is being refilled.

The town will be cleaning the large items from behind the dam and repairing the back of the dam as well. When they are done we will be looking for volunteers to help clean the rest.

We will be holding our 2nd annual neighborhood clean up on Sunday, April 21st, starting at 9am. This is coordinated with the town's annual town wide cleanup. The town will pick up bags town wide. The Association will provide trash bags and cold drinks at two locations, Millville Circle Beach, and Little Saugus ballfield. Please ask your neighbors to help whether they are members or not.

Now is a good time to remind you that your 2002 membership dues are due. We need your support to keep up the good work. If you're not sure your dues have been paid, you can contact me at 898-3516.

At your request, I am working with the Fish and Game Dept. and a private hatchery to restock the lake. This will be discussed at our next meeting.

There will also be a junior fishing tournament coming in the May/June time frame. Please watch for further notice on the exact date and rules. Prizes will be provided in different age groups.
