Dear Members;

Springtime is upon us. That can only mean one thing……Earth Day Clean Up time. We will have this years clean up on Sunday April 24 7am. Clean up bags will be provided as well as cold drinks. You can pick up your supplies at the beach at Millville Circle at 7am.

Collection areas are the Little Saugus Field and Beach area on Grove Ave. and the beach at Millville Circle. REMEMBER NO household trash or furniture. This is only for roadside trash, brush and anything picked up in the entire lake area. We are looking for a volunteer with a boat to pick up the island and any hard to get areas. The dam will be closed any day now and this will be our last chance to clean up.

I would like to announce that the Association just passed our review from the IRS and we will remain a tax deductible Charitable Organization.

Also, at this time I would like to ask you for a 2005 dues/donation of $30.00.

We are looking for volunteers for our annual Jr. Fishing Derby in June. We will be joined by the Fire Department with their smoke trailer to teach kids fire safety and the Police Dept to fingerprint your children. This permanent record will be given to you for future identification if ever needed. Also, the Boy Scouts will be able to earn their Fishing Badge. We will need more chaperones this year.

We will be painting the bath house at Millville Beach this year and need volunteers. The Boy Scouts are exploring the possibility of roofing the bath house as an Eagle Project. More on this later.

We hope to see you all on April 24 at 7am. We’ve done an excellent job every year and let’s do it again!!!!
