Dear Members;

Congratulations, we made it through another winter, mild as it was. This brings us to another Earth Day Clean Up. The members that have helped in the past have done a magnificent job and we hope to continue that tradition. This year's clean up will be on Sunday April 30th, starting at 7:00am. As in the past, the staging area will be at the Beach at Millville Circle. We will provide trash bags and refreshments there then you can go to your respective areas to clean. There will be a cookout at the beach afterward for all you hungry volunteers. As before, we look forward to as many volunteers as possible to spread out to Little Saugus and the surrounding area, and the area around Woodmeadow as well as the whole shoreline. The Town will close the gates on the Dam on Monday May 1st, so try to get your shoreline cleaned up before then.

Now is the time to send in your dues for 2006, still a low $30.00. There has been a lot of interest in having an adult fishing tournament to raise money for prizes for the junior tournament. We are still working the details out and look forward to your input. Please feel free to contact me by phone at 898-3516 or e-mail at millvillelake@aol.com.

This year we will be watching the growth of weeds carefully, as other lakes are experiencing problems. For those of you who have attended the association meetings and still have the weed info, we need your help. We also have info for those that don't have it. We have some new tools to help us out this year. So enjoy the beautiful weather, the beautiful lake and give us a hand in keeping the lake area clean.

Thanks for your help,

Roland Theberge
