This is to announce the general membership meeting of the Millville Lake Protective Association, on Tuesday, November 21. 2000. It will be held at 7:00pm in the upstairs hall at the Derry-Salem Elks.

There will be a presentation by Nancy Christie, Director of the New Hampshire Lakes Association. Topics will include, exotic species, water quality, and the shoreline protection act. Also a discussion on the The Watershed Steward Program and how to reduce erosion and nutrient loading impacts on the lake and improve the water quality.

Also, presenting will be the Department of Environmental Services they hope to bring samples of Milfoil and native species. They wiIl also discuss their weed watcher program.

The New Hampshire Department of Safety has been contacted about providing information and a presentation about assisted lake protection.

These issues are very important to all of us. If you have not sent in your membership fee of $30.00 you may do so at the door.
